In 2018, Humanité & Inclusion (HI) Canada launched its brand new Solidarity conferences cycle, a opportunity for privileged exchanges with long-standing partners and key economic players in the country. These conferences aim to find a local echo to themes and realities specific to our theaters of intervention which are all thousands of kilometers from us.
Humanity & Inclusion has a great expertise in many fields; from physical and functional rehabilitation to the integration of disabled people in the workplace, to the clearance of explosive remnants in conflict zones. Our conferences are also opportunities to meet influential experts in sectors as niche as varied.
The conference A more inclusive adaptation to climate change addressed the particularly severe impacts of climate change on at-risk populations, including children and adults with disabilities.
This conference highlighted key messages from human rights and humanitarian organizations located in Quebec in anticipation of the G7 meeting in Charlevoix in June 2018, in order to bring local and international issues which must be at the heart of the reflections and commitments of the G7 leaders to the public's attention.
On October 10, 2018, at 5:30 pm, HI and the Maison du développement durable will present the conference Colombia, a country maimed by antipersonnel mines.
On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3rd, from noon to 2 pm, Humanité & Inclusion Canada will organize a solidarity conference on inclusive employment at the Maison du Développement Durable (MDD) with the participation of the professional services network Deloitte.
